As slasher horror flicks go this one is really French. Written and directed by Alexander Aja it stars the improbably named Cecile de France. In addition to gallons of blood this film features the least appealing lesbian kiss ever filmed(to my knowledge there is no runner up). It was released in France in 2003 as Haute tension and owns the enigmatic tag line, Hearts will bleed. All in all not bad but not really very good either.
